WASHINGTON — President Trump mentioned Monday that he plans to inform Russian President Vladimir Putin to “end this war” after they meet Friday in Alaska — and that he’ll embrace Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky within the “next meeting.”

“I’m going to be telling him, ‘You’ve got to end this war,’” Trump mentioned at a press convention the place he introduced plans to federalize native police as part of a crime crackdown in Washington, DC.
