A Carnival Cruise passenger recalled the heroic efforts of strangers making an attempt to rescue one of many two American vacationers who drowned on the cruise line’s newly opened $600 million personal resort.
Arkansas resident John Kopta was having fun with a getaway at Celebration Key on Grand Bahama Island, exploring the Caribbean seaside together with his spouse simply earlier than midday August 15, when tragedy struck.
The couple observed a fellow snorkeler on the backside of the shallow water not shifting and Kopta jumped into motion.
