A retired couple’s uncommon prehistoric tree has produced seeds for the primary time ever, value greater than $6,716.

Pamela and Alistair Thompson, each 75, purchased a Wollemi pine for simply $94 in 2010 as a sapling after discovering that dinosaurs used to snack on its fruit.

They planted it of their backyard in Wichenford, Worcs., and this week it produced seeds for the primary time, that are value as much as $13 every.

If every cone produces lots of of seeds, the couple might rake in tens of hundreds of {dollars} within the coming years.

Retired spinal surgeon Alistair stated: “It really does prove that money can grow on trees!”
