MULTAN, Pakistan (AP) — A rescue boat evacuating folks displaced by floods capsized in Pakistan’s japanese Punjab province this week, killing 9 folks, authorities officers mentioned Thursday.

The boat, carrying 20 folks, overturned Tuesday on the swollen Indus River when sturdy winds and quick currents prompted it to lose steadiness, mentioned Musarrat Jabeen, the area’s prime authorities administrator.
