A lady caught the second her ex slashed her throat on her doorbell digicam after he hid within the bushes and waited for her to depart for work.

Rosie Niessen, 28, left for work as a prison officer when her ex-partner, Simon Scrimshaw, then 50, got here up behind her, wielding a Stanley knife.

He slashed her throat and hacked her face, neck, and arms as she fought again.

Luckily, Rosie’s dad, Roberto Niessen, 55, a doorman, heard her screams and got here to her rescue, however suffered a gash on his leg.

Scrimshaw was discovered responsible in January 2024 of tried murder and grievous bodily hurt and sentenced to twenty-eight years in prison at Nottingham Crown Court.
