A Victorian man kind Australia has been named because the pilot concerned in a deadly airplane crash in Brazil on the weekend.

According to native media, Alagoas Military Police say a single-engine airplane crashed in a sugarcane subject on September 14, carrying about 400 kilos (180kg) of cocaine.

The single occupant reportedly died on the scene.

Multiple Brazilian information shops have reported the crash close to Coruripe, a coastal metropolis about 500km (310 miles) north of Salvador, with pictures depicting packages bearing SpaceX branding.
