Thousands of individuals had been evacuated from their properties in Hong Kong in a single day so specialists may defuse a big US-made bomb left over from World War II that was found at a building web site.

Police stated the bomb was practically 5 ft in size and weighed about 1,000 kilos.

It was found by building staff in Quarry Bay, a bustling residential and enterprise district on the west aspect of Hong Kong island.
