Germany’s Munich airport reopened Saturday morning after it was abruptly shut down for the second time in lower than 24 hours over drone sightings – as fears heighten that Russia’s struggle in Ukraine might quickly unfold to different components of Europe.
Air site visitors management first suspended operations late Thursday night time, cancelling 17 flights and disrupting journey for practically 3,000 passengers, who got camp beds, blankets and meals to cross the night time.
“Our police must get the power to shoot drones down,” Markus Soeder, premier of Bavaria, wrote on X Thursday, promising to cross emergency laws to safe German airspace.
