Exiled Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad was hospitalized not too long ago after being poisoned whereas hiding out in Russia, in response to a human rights watchdog.

al-Assad, a longtime ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was rushed to an emergency room on Sept. 20 in vital situation, however was launched 9 days later after receiving medical care, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights first reported Thursday.

He was poisoned whereas at dwelling in a villa close to Moscow that the report claims is closely guarded by Russian authorities.
