Nearly 1,000 adventurers have been trapped on Mount Everest after a large blizzard swept on this weekend — as rescue crews struggled to succeed in the stranded campsite on Sunday.

Weekend storms trapped hikers on the mountain’s japanese face in Tibet starting Friday, with heavy snows collapsing tents and leaving many affected by hypothermia, based on experiences.
