Heartwarming CCTV has captured the second a uncommon child giraffe was born earlier than she took her first wobbly steps at a UK safari park.

The leggy teenager might be seen arriving into the world with a bump after falling round 6ft (2m) onto a mattress of soppy hay at West Midlands Safari Park.

The feminine calf — named Namara — was born within the heat of the giraffe home at 6:30 am on October 8, to mother, 14-year-old Akacia.
