Two males who allegedly stole $100 million price of France’s crown jewels throughout a daring daytime heist on the Louvre Museum have been arrested on Saturday night time — as one suspect was captured attempting to flee the nation.
One of the suspects, who has not been recognized, was busted as he was boarding a flight certain for Algeria at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris newspaper Le Parisien reported.
The males, from Seine-Saint-Denis, a suburb north of Paris, have been detained by police as a part of the investigation of “organized gang robbery” and “conspiracy to commit a crime.”
