Ukrainians gathered at a Kyiv church on Monday to mourn and honor two journalists who had been killed by a Russian drone whereas reporting close to the japanese frontlines.

War correspondent Olena Hubanova, who labored below the pseudonym Alyona Gramova, and cameraman Yevhen Karmazin had been killed Thursday when a Russian Lancet drone slammed into their automobile in Kramatorsk, about 12 miles from the entrance line.

The duo are the newest journalists killed within the Ukraine struggle, with priest Viktor Zhyvchyk hailing them for his or her work throughout the side-by-side funeral service at St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery.
