Two messages in a bottle written by World War I troopers greater than a century in the past washed up on a distant Australian seaside, in line with a report.

Debra Brown and her daughter Felicity found two letters, relationship again to 1916, rolled inside a glass bottle within the dunes of Wharton Beach, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported Friday.

The first letter written in pencil by South Australian soldier Malcolm Alexander Neville to his mom was signed off “somewhere at sea,” the outlet mentioned.
