An Australian couple confronted a terrifying ordeal when a girl armed with a pair of scissors broke into their residence, forcing a frantic battle that left them traumatized.

Steve and his spouse Jane instructed “A Current Affair” they had been simply waking up when the intruder appeared of their Russell Island residence.

“I get out of bed, and then when I walk out, I see her standing in the hallway, holding this knife,” Jane recalled, referring to the weapon later recognized as scissors.
