Death toll from floods in Thailand reaches 145 as receding water reveals widespread harm
BANGKOK — The loss of life toll from flooding in southern Thailand has reached not less than 145, officers mentioned Friday, as receding waters began to disclose devastating harm throughout the area.
More than 1.2 million households and three.6 million individuals have been affected by floods triggered by heavy rains in 12 southern provinces, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation mentioned Friday.
