KYIV, Nov 29 – Ukraine hit two tankers utilized by Russia to export oil whereas skirting Western sanctions with marine drones within the Black Sea, an official from the SBU safety service mentioned on Saturday.

The joint operation to hit the so-called ‘shadow fleet’ vessels was run by the SBU and Ukraine’s navy, the official mentioned on situation of anonymity.

Turkish authorities have mentioned that blasts rocked two shadow fleet tankers close to Turkey’s Bosphorus Strait on Friday inflicting fires on the vessels, and rescue operations had been launched for these on board.
