The White House stated the Pentagon licensed a second deadly army strike in opposition to an alleged Venezuelan drug boat — and insisted the double assault in September was authorized.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated Secretary of War Pete Hegseth licensed Adm. Frank Bradley to order the follow-up strike on the suspected drug trafficking boat after two individuals survived the primary assault.
