London commuter charged with strolling improper method on escalator at prepare station
A girl has appeared in court charged with strolling the “wrong way” on a railway station escalator.
Michaela Copeland, 32, was charged with “walking on an escalator in the wrong direction” on the TFL regional railway community in Greenwich on Nov. 27.
It is alleged Copeland “used or attempted to use an escalator other than by standing or walking on it in the direction intended for travel.”
It will not be identified whether or not she allegedly tried to go up the down escalator or down the up transferring staircase.
