Thieves stole tens of thousands and thousands of euros price of property from security deposit containers inside a German financial institution vault that they drilled into Monday through the vacation lull, police stated.

Some 2,700 financial institution prospects have been affected by the theft in Gelsenkirchen, police and the Sparkasse financial institution stated.

Thomas Nowaczyk, a police spokesperson, stated investigators imagine the theft was price between 10 and 90 million euros ($11.7 to 105.7 million).
