In the wake of the 12-day battle between Israel and Iran, the regime seems to be turning inward — escalating repression with chilling velocity. 

According to Kasra Aarabi, director of IRGC analysis at United Against Nuclear Iran, the Islamic Republic is accelerating towards what he mentioned is a “North Korea-style model of isolation and control.”
