A Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) spokesperson warned Tuesday that an individual immediately embracing “traditional values” might be an indication they’re turning into an extremist.

According to CTV information, Canadian federal police arrested and charged 4 Quebecers – two of whom look like energetic members of the navy – who had been allegedly concerned in “ideologically motivated violent extremism.”

“Three of the individuals have been charged for taking concrete actions to facilitate terrorist activity and two have been charged with various offences related to weapons possession,” CTV reported.
