German vacationer Carolina Wilga was discovered alive in Australia’s distant Outback on Friday, 12 days after she went lacking and a day after her deserted van was found, police stated.

The final recognized sighting of the 26-year-old backpacker, and the final day household and mates heard from her, was June 29.

She was seen in a normal retailer within the wheat farming city of Beacon, 200 miles northeast of the Western Australia state capital Perth.
