Archaeologists lately uncovered multistory buildings from a misplaced Egyptian metropolis within the Nile Delta, fostering new insights into city life in antiquity.

The ruins of the town – identified in historic instances as Imet or Buto – are situated on the website now referred to as Tell el-Fara’in. The University of Manchester introduced the invention in a June 24 press launch.
