With the Fyre Festival fiasco behind him, time served, and Fyre Festival II’s failure to materialize regardless of advance ticket gross sales, the occasion’s founder Billy McFarland offered the model on eBay.

Fyre Fest identify sells on eBay

NBC News first reported the Fyre model, together with its IP, model emblems, and social media property, offered on eBay on Tuesday for $245,300. 42 bidders locations 175 bids throughout the week-long public sale. 

McFarland isn’t precisely proud of the bidding. “Damn. This sucks, it’s so low,” McFarland stated on a livestream of the IP public sale.

The low six-figure sale worth is a far cry from McFarland’s purported seven-figure deal to promote the fest that fell by means of earlier this month. The purchaser remains to be unknown, however McFarland laughed and talked about, “It’s funny,” on the stream.   

Fyre Fest is not any stranger to eBay—or the web

This isn’t the primary time losses have been recouped following the disastrous occasion.

Meanwhile, on TikTok consumer @jfufj607 summarizes the entire ordeal properly, saying, “When you’re rich enough, you only fail upwards.”
