A former personal college pupil confronted court on Monday after allegedly beating a pet that later died close to Newcastle on Sunday afternoon.
Police have charged Cooper Owens, 21, with committing an act of aggravated cruelty upon an animal, and torturing, beating and severely injuring an animal after he allegedly took a pet out of his automobile in a carpark in Sandgate, and commenced slamming it in opposition to the aspect of his automobile.
