Five Chinese vacationers have been killed, and eight others injured, after a rental minibus plunged right into a ravine in Bali.

All 13 Chinese nationals have been travelling from Denpasar to the Buleleng area, within the northern a part of Bali, on Friday when the accident occurred, police head Widwan Sutadi instructed Reuters.

“As the driver was unable to control the vehicle, he swerved it to the left to crash into a tree and try to avoid a collision (with another car). But the minibus was thrown off and plunged into the shallow ravine,” he stated.
