A virtually 20-mile underground relic of Nazi tunnels, shafts, underground railway stations and fight amenities in Poland can now be toured after being reworked into a military museum.

The subterranean metropolis, referred to as Festungsfront Oder-Warthe-Bogen, or the Ostwall, situated within the serene countryside across the small Polish village of Pniewo, was deserted in 1945.

It is now a darkish tourism vacation spot, with 19 miles of eerie tunnels open for individuals to discover within the Międzyrzecz Fortified Region Museum.
