Air Canada’s unionized flight attendants walked off the job early on Saturday morning after contract talks with the nation’s largest provider stalled, in a transfer that would disrupt journey plans for greater than 100,000 passengers.

The union representing greater than 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants confirmed the motion in a social media put up at round 1:00 a.m. within the first strike by cabin crew since 1985.
