
Air India CEO hits again after prelim report suggests lethal crash was attributable to pilot error
The CEO of Air India urged his employees to not leap to conclusions after a preliminary report over final month’s lethal crash dominated out mechanical or upkeep points, suggesting it might have been attributable to pilot error.
Campbell Wilson issued an inside memo insisting the probe into the crash — which killed 241 individuals on board and one other 19 on the bottom — was “far from over” as investigators zero in on why the aircraft’s engine gasoline cutoff swap was flipped simply seconds after take off.
