Archaeologists uncover historical relics linked to legendary medieval rulers in Polish lake
Archaeologists just lately retrieved early medieval weapons from a lake in Poland — relics believed to be linked to the nation’s first rulers.
The Museum of the First Piasts at Lednica introduced the invention in a Facebook submit on Nov. 12.
The lake surrounds Ostrów Lednicki, an island that served as a large royal stronghold within the late tenth century.
Over the years, excavators have discovered round 280 artifacts within the lake, together with 145 axes, 64 spearheads, eight swords and, most just lately, 4 spears.
