A British man within the Philippines unknowingly dealt with one of many deadliest animals within the world on Wednesday. 

Andy McConnell was vacationing within the Philippines when he stumbled throughout a blue-ringed octopus whereas swimming within the ocean.

The title comes from the creature’s indistinguishable blue markings.

“These markings are certainly very beautiful and striking to look at. However, they are only displayed when the octopus is about to dispense its deadly poison,” in keeping with a press release from consultants on the Australian Institute of Marine Science (goals.gov.au).
