
European Parliament snubs request for Charlie Kirk minute of silence after assassination
Members of the European Parliament dramatically refused a request to honor Charlie Kirk with a a second of silence within the chamber Thursday.
Kirk, 31, was killed Wednesday as he addressed college students at Utah Valley University, sending shock waves throughout the nation.
Kirk was identified for mobilizing younger conservatives and was showing on faculty campuses with Turning Point USA.
President Donald Trump referred to as him “the best of America.”
Over on the EU, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni described the assault on Kirk when he was shot useless as “a deep wound for democracy.”
