At least 40 persons are confirmed to have died and 115 are injured, dozens severely, following the New Year’s blaze at a bar in a Swiss ski resort — because the native police commander confirmed that most of the victims are anticipated to be overseas nationals.

“We can expect victims of foreign nationalities,” native police chief Frederic Gisler mentioned at a press convention as he gave the preliminary demise toll from Thursday morning’s fireplace.
