Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy arrived at a prison in Paris on Tuesday to start serving a 5-year sentence for a criminal conspiracy to finance his 2007 election marketing campaign with funds from Libya — a historic second that makes him the primary ex-leader of recent France to be imprisoned.

Sarkozy, 70, was greeted by tons of of supporters when he walked out of his Paris dwelling hand-in-hand together with his spouse Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. He embraced her earlier than getting right into a police automotive.
