PARIS — French authorities have warned they might block entry to Shein after it emerged that the web quick trend big had been promoting intercourse dolls with a childlike look.

France’s client watchdog, the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control, stated final week it had found the dolls on Shein’s web site, noting that their descriptions and categorization left little doubt as to their child-pornographic nature.

The company has referred the case to public prosecutors, and Economy Minister Roland Lescure stated on Monday he would search to ban Shein from the French market if such incidents had been to happen once more.
