French museum was robbed of 2K gold and silver cash hours after $1M Louvre heist
A second French museum was raided by thieves simply hours after the brazen $100 million heist on the Louvre.
About 2,000 gold and silver cash — some 235 years previous — have been swiped from the Maison des Lumières (House of Enlightenment) in Landres when it was closed, the BBC reported.
Employees found the cash have been lacking once they returned to work on Tuesday and located a smashed show. But they quickly realized the housebreaking was truly on Sunday, the identical day because the $100-million heist in Paris some 300 miles away.
The cash, value greater than $100,000, have been stolen with “great expertise,” native officers famous.
