A hiker plunged 60 toes onto jagged rocks whereas desperately attempting to avoid wasting her beloved canine that slipped off the steep fringe of a Canadian peak — and each miraculously survived.

Margaux Cohen, 36, was mountain climbing Tricouni Peak in British Columbia along with her canine, Zion, and two associates on Aug. 24 after they wandered off the path and encountered a wall blocking their path again, in response to native information outlet Squamish Chief.

As the group tried to climb over the wall, the pit bull combine misplaced its footing and commenced sliding down the mountainside, prompting Cohen to seize his harness.
