Iran floor to a close to standstill Wednesday as companies, universities and authorities places of work closed beneath a government-ordered shutdown amid protests attributable to a rising political and financial disaster.

Video footage circulating on-line and shared by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) reveals intense clashes between protesters and safety forces in cities, together with Shiraz, Isfahan, Kermanshah and Tehran.
