The Israeli Air Force on Wednesday night time intercepted two Houthi drones launched from Yemen, in line with the Israeli army.

The first UAV was downed over open areas with out triggering public alerts, the Israel Defense Forces stated at 10:29 p.m.

A second was intercepted about an hour later close to Israel’s border with Egypt, triggering sirens.

It was the second Houthi drone assault in as many days.

The IDF on Tuesday intercepted three drones that had been launched towards Eilat, the army confirmed.
