
Israel, Syria comply with cease-fire as Druze minority, Bedouin clans proceed to combat: US envoy
MAZRAA, Syria — U.S. Envoy to Syria Tom Barrack stated early Saturday that Israel and Syria had agreed to a cease-fire, following Israel’s intervention this week in preventing between Syrian authorities forces and Bedouin tribes and armed teams from the Druze minority.
The announcement got here as clashes continued between Druze teams and members of Bedouin clans in Syria’s southern Sweida province, leaving tens of hundreds of individuals displaced in a worsening humanitarian disaster.
