A German father and his daughter are amongst 5 individuals who have been killed in an avalanche in Italy over the weekend, in response to officers.

Italian officers stated that through the early afternoon hours of Nov. 1, an avalanche occurred within the Ortler space close to the well-known mountain Vertainspitze, which swept away two teams of German mountaineers whereas they have been climbing.

The first group, which consisted of three folks, have been swept away by the snow dashing downhill and have been later discovered useless.

The second group, officers stated, consisted of 4 folks, with two of them in a position to get themselves to security. However, two others have been reported lacking.
