
Manhattan-sized interstellar object 3I/ATLAS seen zooming by Mars in new photographs
The first photographs from Mars of the Manhattan-sized interstellar object 3I/ATLAS have been launched as NASA has gone radio silent as a result of authorities shutdown.
Glowing within the Martian sky, 3I/ATLAS was captured by a complete of seven orbiters from a number of businesses because it made its closest go on its path by way of the internal photo voltaic system — coming inside 12 million miles of the Red Planet.
The European Space Agency launched the primary photographs of the mysterious interstellar object recorded by their ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter on Tuesday.
The craft captured photographs with its Colour and Stereo Surface Imaging System — with a tiny, fuzzy white dot which exhibits the middle of the glowing coma of 3I/ATLAS.
