The Kremlin mocked President Trump’s warning that Russia would face 100% secondary tariffs if it didn’t conform to a cease-fire take care of Ukraine as nothing greater than a “theatrical ultimatum.”

Dmitry Medvedev, the previous Russian president and prime ally of Vladimir Putin, mentioned the Kremlin wouldn’t abide by Trump’s name for a cease-fire settlement to be reached inside 50 days, slamming threats of 100% secondary tariffs towards Moscow as inconsequential.

“Trump issued a theatrical ultimatum to the Kremlin. The world shuddered, expecting the consequences. Belligerent Europe was disappointed. Russia didn’t care,” Medvedev wrote on X.
