
Moscow taunts Trump by evaluating him to Biden, warns new cease-fire deadline is ‘step towards war’
A high ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin taunted President Trump and slammed his new deadline for a cease-fire in Ukraine as “a threat and a step towards war.”
Dmitry Medvedev, the previous Russian president-turned-Security Council deputy chairman, mentioned Tuesday that Moscow is not going to abide by Trump’s name to finish the battle in Ukraine in 10 to 12 days, warning Trump that his threats may spark battle between Washington and Moscow.
“Trump’s playing the ultimatum game with Russia: 50 days or 10 … He should remember 2 things: 1. Russia isn’t Israel or even Iran. 2. Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war,” Medvedev wrote on X.
