A music trainer who was photographed kissing an underage teen lady in a cinema picture sales space has taken the stand to defend herself at trial, claiming it was a “pretend kiss” that she didn’t need or anticipate.

Janelle Colville Fletcher, 40, is contesting the allegations that she groomed and sexually abused a teen lady some years in the past and testified this week on the South Australian District Court earlier than Judge Joanne Fuller.

The prosecution, led by Chris Allen, allege Fletcher abused the lady in varied places and in addition that she communicated together with her and one other teenage lady to make them amenable to sexual exercise.
