Some 16,600 assist vans have entered the Gaza Strip for the reason that U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took impact on Oct. 10, the Israeli Defense Ministry’s Coordinator of Government Activities within the Territories (COGAT) mentioned on Wednesday.

Seventy % of the vans have been carrying meals, amounting to some 370,000 tons, in keeping with the company.

Nearly 200 makeshift kitchens are producing 1.5 million meals per day for Gazans, it added.
