Prince Harry insisted his stunning 2023 memoir “Spare” was “not about revenge” or “dirty laundry” — and that his “conscience is clear” regardless of the shockwaves it despatched by means of the royal household.

“It was a series of corrections to stories already out there. One point of view had been put out and it needed to be corrected,” Harry, who turns 41 on Monday, instructed the Guardian in a current interview.

“It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear,” he added. “It is not about revenge, it is about accountability.”
