MOSCOW — Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered officers on Wednesday to submit proposals for a potential resumption of nuclear exams in response to President Donald Trump’s statements final week that appeared to counsel the U.S. will restart its personal atomic exams.

Speaking at a gathering together with his Security Council, Putin reaffirmed his earlier assertion that Moscow will solely restart nuclear exams if the U.S. does so first.

But he directed the protection and overseas ministries and different authorities businesses to research Washington’s intentions and work out proposals for resuming nuclear weapons exams.
