HONG KONG – Rains from Typhoon Wipha pounded Hong Kong on Sunday because the storm skirted southwards earlier than making landfall on the coast of China’s Guangdong province, leaving fallen bushes and scaffolding and sending over 200 individuals to hunt refuge at non permanent shelters.
